Server Administration
In the summer of 2003 as a result of a growing web site, I finally moved up to a dedicated server from previously using only shared hosting. It was a world of change. Through the help of some helpful people I knew online, I was able to get my own server and hosting up and running. This was a fitting extension to my already active interest in web development. Not only can I design and develop sites, but I can host them as well.
The server I manage is a Debian server which runs Apache, PostgreSQL, MySQL, along with many other important server programs.
In addition to managing web hosting, e-mail, et cetera, I also manage a server which is part of the Chatspike IRC Network.
