PC Building
I've always built my own PC(s). I find several advantages in doing so over buying a pre-built computer. I remember my first real computer, a 386DX40, boy it was fast! I badly wanted a computer, so I saved my money and my uncle helped build my first computer with parts I bought at a computer show. It was an interesting experience. I not only learned how to use the computer but about each of the different parts that make it work. From then on, I continued upgrading piece by piece.
I enjoy building PC's because it allows me to decide exactly which quality components I wish to use rather than settle for a preset package. It also allows me to upgrade what I want when I can. It's also possible to save some money by shopping around different places for different parts.
